Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Offer Caregiver Resources

November is Caregiver Awareness Month!

Caregivers are crucial to the well being of many patients and we want to be sure we take care of them too. The Leukemia and Lymphoma society (LLS) has developed some new resources specifically for caregivers. They can be found on the caregiver page of the LLS website: http://www.lls.org/support/caregiver-support

These resources include a new video series, new educational materials and a Caregiver Resource Kit. This is a physical kit that will be mail to any caregiver who contacts the Information Resource Center (1-800-955-4572, or Email/Live chat).  The Caregiver Resource Kit includes a workbook designed to help the caregiver navigate their role, gather resources and information and compile financial information. It’s very cool!

If you know a caregiver please let any caregivers know that these resources are available to help them!

LLS will continue to offer caregiver support through their Patti Kauffman First Connection Program. If you have any patient or caregiver who would like to utilize this awesome program they can fill out this online request form
