The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
This year’s Drug Take-Back Day is going to be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015.
There are many areas throughout the Buffalo region that will be participating; Union Medical Pharmacy pharmacists will be on site at the West Seneca Senior Community Center to help collect medications from 10am – 2pm. So come on by and dispose of your old medications safely and confidentially!
Other areas where this event is taking place include the Botanical Gardens and the Mercy Ambulatory Care Center.
